Summary
AI x Robotics: Data, Infrastructure & Evaluation is a Tokyo AI evening on the infrastructure that lets physical AI scale and improve. It is aimed at robotics and ML engineers, researchers, data infrastructure practitioners and technical founders.
Petr Khrapchenkov (AIRoA) walks through a production pipeline that processes thousands of hours of robot data each month, covering ingress off the robots, durable storage in a data lake, and querying the right data into training datasets. Hiroshi Hashimoto (Wasabi Technologies Japan) looks at the storage foundations of production RAG and why a persistent data platform matters, with a short MCP demo. Ryo Watanabe (Muso Action) explains simulator-based and module-wise evaluation of learned robot policies to get repeatable feedback and localize failures before spending time on real hardware. Three 30-minute talks with Q&A are followed by an hour of networking in Bunkyo; the title and some talk details are still provisional.
About the community
An international AI community in Tokyo of engineers, researchers, investors, product managers and corporate innovators, running frequent English-language technical evenings with several talks followed by networking.
