Summary
RIKEN and the NPO Honobono Research Institute co-host a special lecture by Dr. Shin-ichiro Imai, a world-leading anti-aging researcher and professor at Washington University School of Medicine. Dr. Imai discovered in 2000 that the sirtuin enzyme plays a key role in regulating aging and lifespan, and now leads global research on NMN-based anti-aging methodologies.
The talk, titled "Frontiers of Aging and Longevity Research: A New Vision for Realizing a Healthy-Longevity Society," covers the latest findings on mammalian aging and lifespan control, along with the current state of science-based anti-aging methods. Held online, it targets researchers and practitioners interested in life sciences, healthtech, and longevity research.
