TTSIB Government Pitch

TTSIB Government Pitch is a pitch event that supports collaboration between local governments and startups, held as part of TOKYO to TOHOKU Social Innovation Bridge (TTSIB), a fiscal 2025 agreement project under the Tokyo Metropolitan Government's TOKYO SUTEAM program. Municipalities from the Tohoku region and startups and aspiring founders based in Tokyo pitch to each other, creating opportunities for new partnerships aimed at solving regional challenges. On the day, municipalities including Miyagi Prefecture, Sendai City, and Tagajo City present their regional challenges and the kinds of collaboration partners they are seeking in a government pitch, followed by a startup pitch where founders supported by TTSIB share their businesses, visions, and potential for working with Tohoku municipalities. Entrepreneurs from a range of fields, from generative AI and mobility to community platforms, are scheduled to present. After the pitches, a networking session gives participating municipalities, startups, support organizations, and attendees a chance to talk directly and explore concrete consultations and partnerships. The event is recommended for startups and entrepreneurs interested in working with local governments, proof-of-concept projects, and regional problem-solving businesses.
