Summary
A beginner digital fabrication workshop at TIB FAB on the 2nd floor of Tokyo Innovation Base. Participants use the free vector software Affinity to draw cut data for acrylic sheets, cut the parts on a laser cutter, and glue them into a card case sized to their own card.
The session covers creating vector data for laser cutting and the basics of cutting and bonding acrylic, as a hands-on introduction to rapid prototyping. Capacity is 5 people, the fee is 500 yen, and it is open to ages from the third year of junior high school up. Bring a laptop with Affinity installed and one card to fit the case.
