Summary
The summit of Foodα X Tokyo, a co-creation cluster that uses the Shimbashi and Toranomon area as a field for putting new food technologies and services into practice. Operating under the Tokyo Metropolitan Government's TIB CATAPULT program, it connects startups, large companies and the local community around a sustainable food future driven by food tech.
The evening opens with the background of how Foodα started, followed by an interim report in the form of short pitches from ongoing projects, and a panel titled "The Future City Foodα Aims For" with speakers from the Urban Renaissance Agency, UnlocX, Leave a Nest, Nippon Steel Kowa Real Estate and Sustainable Food Asia.
A networking session with light food follows, for startup and corporate project leads and anyone interested in urban development and the future of food. The venue is Tokyo Innovation Base (TIB) 1F SQUARE-2, the fee is 3,000 yen, and entry requires registering as a member in the TIB app.
