Summary
This is the annual kickoff for two Tokyo Metropolitan Government initiatives, the TIB Open Innovation Adoption and Promotion Program and TIB CATAPULT. It takes place at Tokyo Innovation Base (TIB), 2F Stage, and brings together large companies working on collaboration with startups.
In part one, about 15 large companies starting startup collaborations under three accelerators (eiicon, Sourcing Brothers, and For Ideal Japan) take the stage. In part two, the six TIB CATAPULT clusters newly selected for fiscal 2026 pitch their plans, covering materials, beauty tech, tourism, space, deep tech, and environment and healthcare.
The evening closes with joint networking that includes past program participants and cluster member companies. It is free and aimed at corporates, VCs and CVCs, and startups seeking corporate partnerships or overseas expansion.
