Living City Keihanna | Implementing Longevity Innovation from Keihanna to Japan

Living City Keihanna is an evening forum on longevity innovation, looking at how technologies that help people live longer, healthier and more independent lives can be identified, validated and actually put into use in Japan. It follows the launch of a partnership between Living Best and ATR (Advanced Telecommunications Research Institute International) in Keihanna Science City, which is building a pathway that runs from human need through innovation, validation, trial and optimisation to adoption and scale. The programme opens with Yasuko Akutsu (Chairman, Aging Japan) on why Japan's demographic shift calls for a new approach, then Dominic Carter (CEO, The Carter Group) on why promising innovations fail to reach people, Hiroyuki Suzuki (Senior Executive Vice President, ATR) on validation and testing in Keihanna, and Debbie Howard on trends from longevity ecosystems around the world.
