The 29th edition of TIB PITCH, running the Trial Deployment Course, takes place on the 2nd floor of Tokyo Innovation Base in Yurakucho. Doors open at 16:00, the programme runs from 16:30 to 19:00, and admission is free with advance registration.
In the Trial Deployment Course, selected startups get to deploy their service or product inside TIB on a trial basis and run a PoC there. That gives them feedback from the venue's staff and users and a way to surface real problems with the product. Companies that pitch but are not selected are still offered a later slot to exhibit and explain their product in the exhibition area.
Alongside the pitches, the organisers plan a hands-on area and a dedicated block of time where judges and the audience can taste food products and try out the products directly. Networking time with the presenting startups and the judges is also scheduled. The event is aimed at startups, large corporates, VCs and financial institutions, government bodies, media, and anyone else interested in working with startups. The lineup of presenting startups and the judging panel will be announced after the first screening round.
