Tokyo Physical AI Summit: How Manufacturing and AI Are Redefining Industrial Deployment

A pitch and matching event focused on physical AI, held as a side event of TECHNIUM Global Conference 2026 and a pre-event of Global Startup EXPO 2026. It is organized by the Tokyo Consortium, the startup ecosystem body working across the greater Tokyo area, with the goal of creating alliances between large corporates and startups spun out of universities and national research institutes. The program has three parts. A panel discussion on the essentials of physical AI co-creation brings together the University of Tokyo Edge Capital Partners, Toyota Invention Partners, LexxPluss and the Japan Research Institute to discuss how startups and corporates can structure effective collaboration, and where such partnerships tend to break down. The pitch session features ARAV and HarvestX (University of Tokyo), XELA Robotics (Waseda), Kisui (Chiba and Tohoku Universities) and TriOrb (AIST Solutions), each presenting their technology, roadmap, and the specific corporate assets they are looking for. The evening closes with networking plus one-on-one meetings with the pitching startups, where advance reservation gets priority. It is aimed at corporates that want to move past technology scouting into PoC work, startups seeking business assets and tie-ups, and VCs, CVCs and support organizations sourcing lead or co-investment deals. The venue is Tokyo Innovation Base 2F ROOM in Marunouchi and admission is free.
