Summary
This workshop teaches how to model robot arm parts using the 3D CAD software Autodesk Fusion, then assemble the parts together within a single CAD project. It is designed for those who want practical, hands-on experience with 3D CAD modeling and assembly.
The session is capped at 5 participants and open to ages 15 and up. No 3D printer is used, the focus is purely on CAD design work. Anyone unsure of Fusion's basic operations is encouraged to complete through Lesson 4 (assembly) of the beginner lessons beforehand.
The workshop is free and held at Tokyo Innovation Base 2F TIB FAB in Chiyoda, Tokyo. Participants should bring a laptop with the Autodesk Fusion trial installed and a mouse.
