Summary
This hands-on workshop introduces the basics of electronics to beginners in manufacturing. Participants learn the fundamentals of soldering along with how to use a tester and an oscilloscope, through practical exercises.
The curriculum covers soldering practice, mounting components and wiring on a circuit board, checking voltage and continuity with a tester, and observing waveforms with an oscilloscope. Attendees can take the finished piece home.
The session is held at TIB FAB on the 2nd floor of Tokyo Innovation Base, on August 16, 2026 (Sunday) from 13:00 to 15:00 (gather at 12:50). The fee is 500 yen (tax included, materials included), the minimum age is 15, and capacity is limited to 5 participants.
About the community
A recurring hands-on workshop series for beginners in electronics, held in small groups of about five people. Sessions take place at a fabrication space inside a Tokyo innovation and startup support hub, covering basics such as soldering and how to use measurement tools.
