Building Deep Tech Startups in Japan - Meetup for International Talent -

Beyond Next Ventures, a Tokyo-based venture capital firm focused on seed and early-stage deep tech investments, hosts this English-language meetup for international talent interested in founding or joining deep tech startups in Japan. The session is aimed at prospective founders, would-be CXOs, and researchers and engineers looking to turn their expertise into venture opportunities, alongside anyone seeking co-founders or early team members. The program opens with two short talks: one on why deep tech startups need international talent, and one on how co-founders actually meet, drawing on real stories. The bulk of the evening is networking, split into themed tables grouped by startup interest and a freer open-networking segment, so attendees can both find people working on similar problems and circulate widely. The event is free, capped at 20 participants, and held at Tokyo Innovation Base in Marunouchi. Light snacks and beverages are provided. Attendees must complete TIB membership registration in advance and present a membership QR code for entry and exit.
