Building Deep Tech Startups in Japan - Meetup for International Talent -

Beyond Next Ventures, a venture capital firm specializing in seed- and early-stage deep tech investments, hosts a meetup for international talent interested in founding or joining deep tech startups in Japan. The evening brings together entrepreneurs, researchers, engineers, business professionals, and investors, and targets people considering starting a company, taking a CXO role at an early-stage venture, or looking for co-founders, collaborators, and early team members. The program opens with two short sessions: one on why deep tech startups need international talent, and one on how co-founders actually meet, told through real stories. The rest of the evening is networking in two 20-minute parts, first at themed tables grouped by startup interest, then in an open format across the whole room. The event is held in English at Tokyo Innovation Base (TIB) in Marunouchi, is free to attend, and is capped at 20 participants, with light snacks and drinks provided. All attendees must complete TIB membership registration through the TIB app in advance and present their membership QR code for entry and exit.
