Summary
This is the first installment of an offline study session series for startups, hosted by law firm ZeLo. Two attorneys with deep practical experience walk through the key points on fundraising and stock option design, decisions that can shape a startup's future.
The first half covers how to choose the right fundraising scheme for a company's growth stage among an increasingly diverse set of options, along with common pitfalls to avoid. The second half turns to stock options as an incentive design tool, covering the latest practices in light of Japan's 2026 tax rules and incentive compensation guidance.
The event takes place at Tokyo Innovation Base (TIB) and is aimed at startup executives, CEOs, and CFOs involved in capital strategy decisions. A networking session follows the talk.
