Open Innovation 2026

A matching event to promote open innovation, co-hosted by Kiraboshi Bank and Higashi-Nippon Bank at Tokyo Innovation Base (TiB), the Tokyo Metropolitan Government's startup support facility. Ten startups backed through the banks' sponsorship of NIKKEI THE PITCH will take the stage, with the goal of creating synergies between the startups and operating companies. The program opens with greetings, followed by an introduction to the NIKKEI THE PITCH initiative by Nikkei Inc., pitches by the ten startups (7 minutes each), a keynote by Sourcing Brothers, and a business card exchange. The presenting companies span a wide range of fields including childcare, AI medical devices, anticancer drug development, healthcare, credit infrastructure, AI/IT talent development, real estate, and disability welfare. The event is offline only, with a capacity of 100 (up to 2 people per company). Applications are accepted via Questant until 12:00 on July 6, 2026. The venue is SQUARE-1 on the 1st floor of TiB, one minute on foot from Yurakucho Station; advance member registration via the TiB app is required for entry.
