Summary
Women Leaders TIB Lounge is a small-group roundtable where experienced women founders (Lead Sisters) talk with women who want to start their own challenge. This edition welcomes Maiko Matsuoka, CEO of Medited, whose work is built around the idea that a medical license remains an asset throughout one's career.
Matsuoka started her career as a pharmacist and went on to found Medi+ (Meditasu), a reskilling school exclusively for healthcare professionals, helping licensed medical workers use their expertise to take on new careers. The session traces her journey and how she turned personal experience into a business, then opens into dialogue with participants on turning one's own experience and problem awareness into a venture, building new challenges on professional strengths, and balancing life events with a career.
The venue is the 3rd floor of the Tokyo Innovation Base (TIB) main building. Participation is free (TIB app members only) and advance registration is required. The event is women-only.
About the community
