Summary
The third edition of a meetup series for globally minded engineers, this time on the theme of engineer career strategies in the AI era. Held in the ROOM venue on the 2nd floor of Tokyo Innovation Base (TIB), the event looks at what is actually changing in the field as AI spreads and which engineers are being valued, through real examples from working engineers.
The main guest is Sakamoto, a senior software engineer at a foreign IT company who writes about engineer career strategy on X. His talk, "Rethinking Engineers in the AI Era: What Changes and What Does Not," is joined by a lightning talk from AI Square CEO Louis Boka and a live recording of the GAOCAST podcast featuring a career consultation session.
The second half is a networking reception with food and drinks, giving attendees time to talk with speakers and each other. Capacity is 60 people and the fee is 1,000 yen (prepaid via Peatix). The event is aimed at engineers rethinking their careers for the AI era and anyone interested in working in global environments.
