Summary
A hands-on workshop where participants experience effectuation, a way of thinking shared by successful entrepreneurs. Participants take stock of their own values and the people and things they know, then combine them with others to create new purposes together. The program moves from a deeper-than-usual self-introduction through exercises that cross-pollinate interests, a chain-trading (warashibe) exercise involving other groups, and final presentations.
The workshop is aimed at high school and university students (students living outside Tokyo and kosen students may also join), open to anyone who wants to start something new or find direction, regardless of prior interest in entrepreneurship. Organizer Prima Pinguino runs it in cooperation with ScaleOut, whose co-representatives Masato Iino and Keijiro Yamagata facilitate.
