Summary
Ishikawa Startup Networking in Tokyo 2026 is a networking event aimed at building organic ties between the Tokyo metropolitan area and Ishikawa Prefecture, and at forming a cross-regional community of Ishikawa-rooted startups. Held annually at Tokyo Innovation Base, this year's edition runs on Wednesday, June 17, 2026, from 17:00 to 19:30. The program has three parts. Part one is a keynote, "Why We Aimed for an IPO," by Tetsuhiro Matsumoto, President and Group CEO of Hitotohito Holdings. Part two features lightning talks by nine or more Ishikawa-linked startups, and part three is a networking and information exchange session. An introduction to the Ishikawa Startup Business Plan Contest is also planned. Capacity is 150 people, and on-site attendees receive a participant roster (those who prefer not to be listed may opt out). Speakers for the lightning talks are being recruited, open to representatives of startups headquartered in Ishikawa, founded by people from Ishikawa, or operating or planning to operate in the prefecture.
About the community
