LOCAL SCALE: Updating Japan from the Regions, produced by HamaHub!

Hamamatsu City hosts a regional innovation talk session and networking event at Tokyo Innovation Base (TIB) in Yurakucho, connecting Hamamatsu-area companies and city officials with startups and corporates from across Japan. The evening is part of HamaHub!, the city's startup collaboration platform aimed at sourcing concrete partnership opportunities. The program runs in three parts. It opens with reverse pitches from three HamaHub! companies (Aikan, Entetsu Group, and Tenryu Mokuzai), who present the problems they want solved and the assets they can offer. A talk session follows with Yusuke Mizuno (CEO, Life is Tech) and Katsutoshi Hosoya (CEO, Chiiki Shinbunsha), moderated by Satoko Suzuki of For Startups. Takahiro Ikeda of Pi Photonics then shares a HamaHub! support case study, before a one-hour networking reception. Admission is free. The event is aimed at startups looking for proof-of-concept fields or partners, corporates interested in regional open innovation, and investors or supporters wanting to build networks beyond the Tokyo metro area.
