German Deep-Tech Startups Exhibit at Sushi Tech: Pitch & Networking Night at TIB

Seven German deep-tech startups selected by the German government will gather in Tokyo for Pitch Night Tokyo at Tokyo Innovation Base (TIB), held alongside their exhibition at Sushi Tech Tokyo. The event connects European and Japanese innovation players in a single evening of pitches and networking. Presenting companies span wellness furniture (BADESOFA), biotech (Eversyn), ophthalmic medical devices (TissueGuard), Direct Air Capture carbon removal (Ucaneo), AI-powered self-checkout (Visiolab), industrial AI audit & compliance (LexaTexer), and cost-efficient distributed storage (Clyso). The program includes opening remarks, an introduction to the NRW region by NRW.Global Business Japan, the pitch session, and a dinner-inclusive networking segment. The event is designed for investors and VCs active across Japan and Asia-Pacific, corporate open-innovation leads, government and public-sector agencies exploring international partnerships, and ecosystem builders interested in Germany-Japan collaboration.
