Summary
MINATO Global Meetup (MGM) is a free, English-led networking gathering held every Monday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 PM on the 9th-floor free space of the Minato City Industrial Promotion Center in Shiba, Tokyo. It brings together founders, startup members, corporate professionals, embassy and government representatives, students and others working internationally in Japan.
The format is casual networking: attendees share their work, ideas and challenges, meet people outside their usual industries, and look for partners and collaborators for new projects. English is the main language, but Japanese is welcome and perfect English is not required. Walk-ins are welcome and no registration is needed; sessions may be skipped on public holidays.
About the community
A weekly English-led community night for Japan's international business crowd: founders, startup teams, corporate staff, diplomats, officials and students. Casual networking, open to walk-ins, with Japanese speakers welcome.
