Summary
A Vim edition of the Tech Brunch series, billed as "How to Win Friends and Exit Vim: A Brunch for Vim Users". Vim users gather over a relaxed breakfast at Beltempo in Hotel Metropolitan Edmont, Iidabashi, to share plugins and discuss configurations.
It welcomes seasoned users and newcomers to modal editing, including Neovim and Evil users, people using Vim emulation in other tools, and developers who have implemented modal keybindings. Expect show-and-tells of .vimrc and init.lua files, plugin discussions and tips for efficient modal editing. The group is small, RSVP is needed to find the table, and first-time attendees confirmed on the list get a free meal.
About the community
Tech Brunch is a recurring small-group breakfast meetup held in English at a hotel restaurant in Iidabashi. Each edition picks a technical theme, such as functional programming, Vim or AI-assisted coding, and mixes lightning talks, demos and casual discussion among a handful of developers.
