Summary
The November edition of Nerd Nite Tokyo pairs space electronics with cowboy wisdom. Mark Bain talks about "Making Electronics for Space", designing devices that keep working through vacuum, radiation and isolation with no power outlet in sight. Max Gabriele follows with "Everything I 'Know' About People, I Learned From Horses", lessons on communication and relationships from riding and caring for horses. The event is at Study Abroad Pub in Shin-Okubo, one stop from Shinjuku. Doors open at 19:00 and talks start at 20:00. Admission is 1,500 yen (1,000 yen for students), online in advance or at the door. Talks are in English; there is no livestream, but videos are posted afterwards.
