Summary
Nerd Nite Tokyo #82 returns to Study Abroad Pub in Shin-Okubo for two TED-style talks over drinks. Minami Shinohara, a Climate Fresk coordinator, shares lessons from running some 800 sessions of the collaborative card game that helps people understand the causes and effects of climate change.
CJ Hostetter follows with a talk on the chemistry and technique of everyday glass, from fundamental chemistry to coloring and shaping. Doors open at 19:00 and talks start at 20:00. Admission is 1,500 yen (1,000 yen for students), available in advance online or at the door. Talks and Q&A are in English, and videos will be posted after the event rather than livestreamed.
