Summary
A community evening held during Tokyo Game Show week, bringing Tokyo's local and international game development scenes together at Le Wagon in Meguro. The programme centres on a showcase of more than 20 games built by community members, with the developers on hand to talk about how they were made.
Alongside the showcase there is open networking with several participating organisations, including Creasidence, GAMELAND, Games Ground Berlin, Wholesome Indies and XR Tokyo, plus a raffle for promotional merchandise and special guests. Drinks and light snacks are available for purchase at the cafe.
No advance registration is required: attendees sign in at the door and entry is first come, first served.
About the community
A Tokyo meetup group for people building and exploring virtual, augmented and mixed reality, from developers and 3D artists to researchers and newcomers trying headsets for the first time. Sessions mix hands-on demos, short talks and open networking, and the group regularly teams up with game development and creative communities in the city for larger joint events.
