Summary
The Nogizaka hackerspace holds an open house every Tuesday and Wednesday evening from 19:30 to 22:00, and this is the Tuesday session. It is a drop-in format: stop by, say hello, and find out what the space and the people in it are working on. Workshop tools are available to visitors who need them, but heavier equipment such as the 3D printers and the laser cutter takes a long time to set up, so an open house night is not the best slot for those machines. Conversation, smaller projects, and a look around the workshop fit the evening better. The space is room 102 of Azalea Akasaka at 8-12-13 Akasaka, Minato City, near Nogizaka. Access directions are published at tokyohackerspace.jp/access.
About the community

A volunteer-run makerspace community in central Tokyo, open to anyone curious about electronics, 3D printing, laser cutting, and physical prototyping. Open house nights recur every Tuesday and Wednesday, so the room mixes long-time members working on their own builds with first-time visitors who just want to look around. No membership or project is required to attend, and the working language is mostly English.
