Summary
A casual tech networking evening hosted at the U-NEXT office in Meguro Central Square, Shinagawa. Attendees are split into small groups that rotate several times over the evening, so people meet more of the room than a single conversation would allow, with open mingling toward the end.
U-NEXT employees give a presentation on the company's businesses and its working culture, and several of them join the networking itself. Past crowds have included backend, frontend, infrastructure and data engineers, designers, founders and executives, freelancers, PMOs, recruiters, and people looking for their first engineering role.
Entry is 900 yen paid in advance by Stripe (the link opens the day before) or 1000 yen at the door by cash or PayPay. Priority goes to people who pay in advance or answer the host's message, and venue entry instructions are sent to registered attendees before the date.
About the community
