Summary
This is one of the regular open house nights at a hackerspace in Nogizaka, starting at 7:30 pm and open to anyone who wants to drop by. As the title indicates, this session runs mainly in Japanese, so it is a chance to introduce yourself and find out what happens in the space without needing English.
The venue is the group's newer home, moved into in 2025: Azalea Akasaka room 102, 8 Chome-12-13 Akasaka, Minato City, Tokyo. Tools can be used if needed, though the 3D printers and laser cutter take a long time to set up, so open house nights are not the best slot for serious fabrication. Treat it as a chance to look around the equipment and ask regulars how it works.
The crowd is people interested in electronics, hardware, and digital fabrication, and coming just to look is fine. It suits anyone who wants to meet technical people in Japanese.
About the community
A volunteer-run hackerspace in central Tokyo where members share tools and machines for electronics and fabrication projects. Open houses run on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings and are open to anyone, with a relaxed mix of regulars and first-time visitors, including people who only want to look around. Some nights run mainly in English and others mainly in Japanese.
