Tech Brunch Event

A morning brunch meetup in Iidabashi built around natural language processing. The group plans to work through how computers parse and generate human language, covering the techniques, tooling, and open problems in the field. Attendees are expected to bring their own experience and questions rather than sit through talks. The planned discussion spans the mathematical foundations of NLP (linear algebra, calculus, probability), prompt engineering and context window management, and the wider ecosystem of core libraries, machine learning frameworks, and speech technologies. There is also room for interoperability topics such as using Hy or Clojure, plus lessons carried over from real production NLP work. The format is a relaxed sit-down brunch at the restaurant Beltempo inside Hotel Metropolitan Edmont. It is deliberately a small gathering, so an RSVP is needed to find the group. First-time attendees confirmed on the attendee list have their meal covered.
