Tech Brunch Event

This edition of TechBrunch takes pure mathematics and its links to computer science as its theme. The group meets over a relaxed brunch at a hotel restaurant in Iidabashi to share and dissect favourite theorems, proofs and concepts, and to talk through the mathematical structures that sit underneath everyday programming work. The format suits mathematicians curious about programming, computer scientists who approach their work with mathematical rigour, and developers who want a firmer grasp of the theory behind their tools. Conversation is informal and the group is kept deliberately small, so this is a discussion table rather than a talk series. First-time attendees who RSVP on Meetup and are confirmed on the attendee list get their meal covered. RSVP matters for logistics as well: the organisers may need to relocate, and without a booking there is no guarantee of finding the group on the day.
