Summary
Tokyo Hackerspace holds an open house every Tuesday and Wednesday evening from 19:30 to 22:00 at its workshop in Akasaka, near Nogizaka. The format is drop-in: stop by, say hello, and get a sense of what the space and its members are working on. The space moved to 8 Chome-12-13 Akasaka, Azalea Akasaka room 102, in Minato City. Tools can be used if you need them, but bear in mind that equipment such as the 3D printers and the laser cutter takes a long time to prepare, so open house nights are not the best slot for those jobs. No registration beyond the meetup listing is expected, and the details are published in both English and Japanese.
About the community

A volunteer-run hackerspace and shared workshop in central Tokyo, open to makers, engineers, and anyone curious about building things. Open house evenings run twice a week on a regular schedule, alongside member projects covering electronics, 3D printing, laser cutting, and general fabrication. Newcomers can walk in without booking, and the regulars are a mix of Japanese and international residents, so conversation happens in both languages.
