Summary
This edition of the TechBrunch series is dedicated to the Lisp family of languages. The session gathers people who write Clojure, Common Lisp, Scheme, Racket, Fennel, Hy or Janet, along with developers drawn to language design, macros and interactive development. Newcomers who are simply curious about where these languages are used in practice are equally welcome.
The format is a relaxed brunch at the hotel restaurant Beltempo in Iidabashi, built around lightning talks, live demos and open discussion of language features. Attendees are encouraged to bring projects and ideas for feedback from the room. First-time attendees who RSVP and appear on the confirmed attendee list have their meals covered.
This is a deliberately small gathering rather than a large conference-style meetup, so RSVP matters: the group may relocate, and without an RSVP there is no guarantee of finding them. The organizers note they may start before the posted time but will be present at the scheduled hour for everyone who has RSVP'd.
About the community
A recurring series that pairs a casual meal with technical conversation, each edition built around a chosen topic. Sessions stay deliberately small, favoring lightning talks, live demos and hands-on feedback over formal presentations. The audience is working developers and language enthusiasts, and first-time attendees are actively welcomed with a free meal.
