Summary
Designers Meetup is a casual gathering for designers in Tokyo to meet, talk, and connect outside their usual workplace. It takes place at a relaxed bar in Shibuya, where participants can share ideas and talk about design work and careers with people from different design fields.
The format is built around meeting new people. Attendees are split into several small groups, and the groups are reshuffled a few times during the event so everyone can get to know more of the room. Expected participants span UI/UX, product, web, graphic, brand, and visual designers, along with freelancers, design managers, students, and people building portfolios or looking for a design job.
Reception opens at 17:55. Attendance is 900 yen paid in advance via Stripe or 1000 yen on site, plus one drink order at the bar. Paying via Stripe gives priority to attend even from the waitlist.
