TechBrunch is a casual meetup that pairs tech conversation with brunch, and this edition focuses on early user acquisition. Participants share stories and strategies for landing their first users, whether for a bootstrapped startup, a side hustle, an open source project, or a lifestyle business. The session is aimed at non-technical co-founders, technical founders handling early-stage growth, side hustlers who have bootstrapped a user base, open source creators, and engineers who have built tools for user acquisition. The format is relaxed: informal talks on early-stage acquisition tactics, open discussion about finding product-market fit, and stories about those unscalable early wins. The group meets at Beltempo, the restaurant inside Hotel Metropolitan Edmont in Iidabashi, Chiyoda. First-time attendees who RSVP on Meetup and are confirmed on the attendee list get their meal for free. This is deliberately a small gathering, and attendees are asked to RSVP so the group can be located if it needs to relocate within the venue.
