Summary
Coffee and Code is a casual weekend meetup at the Starbucks in the Roppongi Hills lobby for people who code, people who want to start, and anyone working in an IT-related field. Bring a laptop, grab a coffee, and chat about what you are building or learning. Participants help each other, swap tips, and keep the format low-pressure. The group welcomes any nationality, background, or experience level: residents of Japan, travelers, students, and curious tech enthusiasts all show up. After the morning session a subset of the group continues to a nearby restaurant for lunch from 12:30, which is the easiest way to meet other regulars. Note that the host Starbucks does not offer charging on weekends, so come with a charged battery.
About the community

A recurring weekend meetup in Tokyo for coders and IT-curious people of any level, run in an open drop-in format at a public Starbucks. Sessions are conversational rather than talk-driven, with regulars continuing to a nearby lunch afterward. International and beginner-friendly.
