Summary
Nerd Nite Tokyo #78 returns to Study Abroad Pub near Shinjuku for an evening of three TED-style talks delivered over drinks. Shania James opens with the K–Pg clay layer that records the asteroid impact ending the dinosaurs. Upasana Jhariya then explains how iron-using bacteria can remove heavy metals from water and help restore ecosystems.
