Summary
A Japanese-language edition of Tokyo Hackerspace's regular open house. The space hosts open houses every Tuesday and Wednesday from 7:30 pm to 10 pm, where members and visitors drop in, introduce themselves, and learn what the hackerspace is about.
The venue moved in 2025 to a new location in Nogizaka (8-12-13 Akasaka, Azalea Akasaka room 102, Minato-ku, Tokyo). Tools can be tried out if needed, but heavier equipment like 3D printers and the laser cutter take time to set up and are usually not ideal during a busy open house night.
This particular session is run as a Japanese-language social, aimed at people who want a low-pressure entry point to hackerspace culture in their native language.
About the community
Tokyo Hackerspace is a long-running maker and engineering community in Tokyo, hosting open houses twice a week (Tuesdays and Wednesdays, 7:30–10 pm) where members and visitors share projects spanning electronics, 3D printing, laser cutting, and general hardware tinkering.
