Summary
Pitch & Connect: Shibuya is a pitch series for founders who want to practice their startup pitch, get feedback, and build connections with other entrepreneurs. The format pairs a 5-minute pitch with audience Q&A and targeted feedback from guest judges and a pitch coach. The session is held at Sivan's Lab in Shibuya and is free and open to everyone.
The guest judges are Colin Magne (Partner at Inovexus and founder of Japan Angels, who runs a Tokyo angel investor network) and Bibi Ishikawa (Analyst at Incubate Fund). Both give founders questions and feedback aimed at making pitches more convincing to angels and VCs. Lee Jean, founder of Pulsar Innovations and a 3x Antler alumni, provides feedback on presentation and storytelling skills.
The event suits early-stage founders refining their story, entrepreneurs preparing for accelerators or investor meetings, and anyone curious to see what others are building. A 30-minute open networking session follows the pitches.
