Global Startup Ecosystem Meeting - Special Edition

A meetup organized by the Startup Ecosystem Association Japan (SEAJ) that gathers, in one place, the overseas expansion support available to Japanese startups. Representatives from embassies, chambers of commerce, and trade and investment promotion agencies, including Canada, the US, the Netherlands, France, the UK, Switzerland, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and the Nordic countries, present their programs. Each country presentation (about 10 minutes) covers the local startup ecosystem, support such as travel grants, visas, soft-landing programs, and local accelerators, basics on regulation, tax, and incorporation, and success stories of Japanese startups that have expanded there. The second half is booth-style networking with one-on-one consultations with country representatives. It is aimed at startups considering international expansion as well as support organizations, accelerators, VCs, and media. The venue is Tokyo Innovation Base 1F Square-2.
