Global Innovators Mixer

A networking event for startup ecosystem builders who work across borders or want to take on opportunities abroad. It brings together people from startups, VCs, CVCs, and corporate new business teams, regardless of position or title, to exchange insights and build connections around global work. The evening opens with a cross panel on the differences in work styles and environments between Japan and the rest of the world, featuring Arisa Ueno, who leads investment and accelerator programs at U.S. VC organizations from Silicon Valley, and Shunsuke Watanabe, a partner attorney handling cross-border matters for startups and VCs. A Journey Session follows with Yuki Shirato, Managing Director of Techstars Japan, a New York attorney of 12 years and a three-time founder, who talks through his own path. The venue is xBridge Yaesu by Tokyo Tatemono, directly in front of Tokyo Station. Doors open at 18:30, networking with drinks starts at 20:30, and the event closes at 22:00. It is aimed at people with overseas experience, those planning an international career, and people who have moved to Japan from abroad to work.
