Summary
Antler Japan runs a lunchtime online Ask-Me-Anything session to open applications for its JPN7 Residency, the Tokyo cohort of Antler's program for people who want to found a startup. The team gives a short overview of Antler and the latest JPN7 program, then spends most of the hour answering questions: who joins the residency, what participants get out of it, and what sets Antler apart.
The session runs from 12:00 to 12:55 JST, attendees are welcome to eat lunch while they listen, and there is an optional chance at the end to meet other prospective founders. It is aimed at aspiring founders and people interested in startups; investors and ecosystem supporters are asked not to attend.
About the community
These sessions are for people planning to start a company or seriously considering it, and they deliberately exclude investors and ecosystem supporters so the discussion stays on the founder side. They repeat on Thursday lunchtimes during the residency's application period, each one short and driven by attendee questions rather than a long presentation, with Japanese and English both in use and an optional closing stretch for meeting other prospective founders.
