Summary
HerRise is a six-part, hands-on workshop program for women entrepreneurs aiming to grow globally, organized by Shibuya City and run by the Startup Lady association. Session #5, "Pitch with Power", focuses on seeing your business through an investor's eyes and building a pitch that earns trust and engagement. Participants who wish can deliver a live pitch. The speakers are three investors: Sophie Merani (Shizen Capital), Kazuhide Hashida (OASIS FUND), and Yuji Hara (Apolo Capital). The day includes one-on-one mentoring office hours from 10:00 to 17:00 (reservation recommended), the main workshop from 18:30 to 20:30, and optional networking until 21:00. Japanese-English interpretation is planned. Admission is free with pre-registration and limited seats, held in person in Shibuya. It is open to women founders within about 10 years of founding, women planning to incorporate within a few years, and Shibuya Startup Visa holders or S-startups certified companies. Drop-in attendance is allowed.
