Summary
Marunouchi Morning Code is a two-hour morning meetup for people working with code, web development, design, cloud, blockchain, or AI. Participants bring a laptop and use the time to push their own projects forward, learn something new, or talk through what they are building with the others in the room.
There is no fixed agenda and no talk schedule. The format is open discussion and side-by-side working, so every experience level fits, from people writing their first lines of code to engineers running production systems. Sharing projects and ideas with other participants is encouraged.
The event is free, though attendees may need to buy something at the venue. Anyone who turns up without being on the Going list is asked to pay a 3,000 yen participation fee, so registering in advance matters.
About the community
The group runs recurring morning coding sessions in central Tokyo, drawing a mixed crowd of developers, designers, and people exploring cloud, blockchain, and AI. Sessions stay casual and low-commitment: no talks, no slides, just a couple of hours of working alongside others and comparing notes. Newcomers sit at the same table as long-time regulars, and the sessions repeat often enough that attendees can drop in whenever their schedule allows.
