Summary
Claude Community's first event in Okayama is a hackathon for businesspeople themed on solving internal workplace problems. Participants bring a problem from their own job, form groups of about three, and use Claude Code to build something that works within one hour, then present it. Example problems include automating Excel aggregation, routing inquiry emails and turning meeting recordings into minutes.
No programming experience is needed and support staff circulate during the build. Attendees need a laptop and a personal claude.ai account on Pro or above (Max recommended); API credits are expected to be handed out. The venue is MOMOTARO STARTUP CAFE near Okayama Station, the event is run in Japanese, and it is open to ages 18 and up.
About the community
