Summary
A self-contained 90-minute ideation workshop for students who want to try starting a business but have no idea yet, or who have an idea but lack confidence explaining it. Participants work hands-on through how to generate ideas, how to structure them so others understand, and how to refine them enough to take the next step.
With mentor support, attendees organize the problem, customer, and solution and aim to leave with one business idea clear enough to carry into further mentoring or feedback sessions. The mentor is Hirokazu Udagawa, community manager of TIB JAM. It is held on the 1st floor of Tokyo Innovation Base in Yurakucho, free of charge, with about 10 seats.
About the community
TIB JAM is a community based at Tokyo Innovation Base in Yurakucho that connects students with players in the startup ecosystem. It runs recurring programs such as IDEA FLASH Session for hands-on idea generation, JAM MEETUP for casual networking with ecosystem players, and the weekly Wednesday TIB Student day, which supports students from finding an idea to articulating it and validating the business, helping students who are only starting to be curious about entrepreneurship take their first step.
