Summary
The OKTech Hackathon is a Saturday-afternoon build event at QUINTBRIDGE in Kyobashi, Osaka, with AI Salon as a community sponsor. The theme is Level Up: every team receives the same small starter app and has two and a half hours to bring it to production level, earning points on a live scoreboard for each working upgrade such as deployment, CI/CD, tests, login, security, observability, SEO and payments. Any tools are allowed, AI included.
It is the second event in the OKTech hackathon series after Osaka Fasthacks #1, aimed at bringing Kansai's Japanese-speaking and English-speaking developer communities into the same room. Developers, AI engineers, founders, product people and beginners are welcome, and solo participants are matched into teams at the kickoff. The event is free with limited capacity; registration happens on the separate OKTech Luma page.
About the community
A global network of AI discussion salons with chapters in many cities, gathering founders, engineers and researchers for conversations about AI and its impact. The Osaka chapter partners with local developer groups such as OKTech to connect Kansai's Japanese and English speaking tech communities.
