Summary
JAM MEETUP #7 is a Tokyo Innovation Base meetup where students meet startup founders casually, this time on the theme of sports business. Former athletes turned founders and entrepreneurs who support sports with technology explain how they turned their experience into businesses.
Speakers are Koki Watanabe (Opt Fit), Honami Uchiyama (wagamama), Ikuma Uchida (AllClip, AI-based automatic match filming and editing) and Takuya Manabe (Gecipe, esports education). Business introductions are followed by group networking. The event is aimed at students, capacity about 30.
About the community
TIB JAM is a community based at Tokyo Innovation Base that connects students with players in the startup ecosystem. It runs programs supporting student ventures, including IDEA FLASH Session for idea generation, JAM MEETUP for meeting founders, and the weekly Wednesday TIB Student day.
