Summary
A workshop-style meetup featuring alumni of TOKYO STARTUP GATEWAY, focused on developing business ideas. TOKYO STARTUP GATEWAY is a Tokyo Metropolitan Government business contest you can enter with just a 400-character application. The guests are past finalists and winners who will discuss what they wrote in their 400 characters and what changed after passing, before participants work on their own business ideas in a hands-on application-prep session. Four young founders take the stage: a coordinator from an entrepreneurship program, the CEO of yomiyomi (memory-focused products), the CEO of ikigAI (using AI to visualize the inner mind), and the founder of taberugi (allergy-friendly restaurant search and SaaS). With backgrounds spanning product design, AI, and data engineering, they share the real-world experience of building a startup. The venue is the 1st floor of Tokyo Innovation Base in Yurakucho. Admission is free, capacity is around 40, and both people with ideas and those still searching are welcome. Networking time is set before and after the talk session, giving attendees a chance to connect with others interested in entrepreneurship.
