Summary
Marunouchi Morning Code is a two-hour weekday morning meetup for people interested in code, web development, design, cloud, blockchain, or AI. Participants bring a laptop and work on whatever they are building or learning, with time set aside to talk through projects and ideas with others in the room.
The format is deliberately open. There is no set agenda and no lineup of talks, so the session works equally well for someone shipping a side project, someone picking up a new framework, or someone who just wants to compare notes with other builders before the workday starts. All experience levels are welcome.
Attendance is free, though you may need to buy something at the venue. Registration matters here: anyone who shows up without being on the Going list will be asked to pay a 3,000 yen participation fee.
About the community
A recurring morning gathering for adults who want a low-pressure place to build, learn, and meet other technical people in central Tokyo before the workday begins. Sessions draw a mix of engineers, designers, and founders across experience levels, and the tone is conversational rather than presentation-driven, with people working side by side and swapping notes as they go. First-timers are treated the same as regulars.
