Snack & Connect is a weekly gathering in Shibuya for founders, operators, and others working in the startup ecosystem. The format stays simple: light snacks, a short talk, and time to speak with the people in the room. Doors open at 4:00 PM, the guest speech and Q&A run from 4:30 PM to 5:00 PM, and networking follows until 6:00 PM. This session features Darren Leong, a Principal at Clay Capital, a venture capital firm based in Singapore and London with roughly USD 200 million under management. The firm invests in food and agricultural technologies across Europe and Asia. Darren has worked in venture capital since 2018 and joined Clay Capital at the inception of its first fund, supporting founders from commercialisation through international expansion. He will introduce Clay Capital and share perspectives from investing in the food and agri space across both regions.
